Leadership Facilitation

I’ve spent more than four decades on stages around the world. Still, now I’m expanding how I serve leaders—by facilitating executive and leadership retreats where clarity, trust, and strategic alignment truly matter.

The American Society of Association Executives Summit

Michelle Mason, President & CEO of the American Society of Association Executives, invited me to design and facilitate its 125-person CEO Summit in Los Angeles. The goal wasn’t just inspiration—it was meaningful dialogue, shared understanding, and forward momentum among senior leaders.

Because of the effectiveness of that experience, she invited me to:

Design and facilitate a 140-person ASAE Volunteer Leadership Input Session, and then synthesize that input into a focused, 20-person Board of Directors strategic planning retreat in Louisville, Kentucky.

Working closely with ASAE’s Chair of Public Policy, VP of CEO Development, and a former association CEO consultant, I customized an experience that honored the organization’s history while inviting leaders to stretch into what’s next. Every element—story, dialogue, reflection, and decision-making—was intentionally designed and knitted together into a cohesive learning experience leaders could actually use.

more than just conversations

Here’s Why Organizations Ask Me to Facilitate

When clients work with me, they’re not hiring a speaker and a facilitator.

They’re choosing one trusted partner who can:

  • Create a culture of psychological safety while guiding honest, high-stakes conversations.

  • Design sessions that move from input → insight → alignment

  • Translate diverse perspectives into clear priorities and shared direction.

  • Hold the room with warmth, credibility, and calm authority.

My role is simple—but not easy —to help leaders think clearly together, make sense of what they hear, and leave aligned around a future they’re committed to building.

Executive retreats for more than just conversations.

Leave with clarity, alignment, and momentum.
