“You just can’t beat the person who never gives up.” —Babe Ruth

Recently I was in Las Vegas speaking at a conference, and I met one of the most amazing examples of female entrepreneurship. Her name is Angela Williams, and she reminded me that you can set the trajectory of your own epic career no matter your circumstances. Angela leveraged that “it factor,” her work ethic, and an amazing amount of resilience to build an epic career. I hope you’ll read the whole story about how she did it here: https://simont.ba/2G6pB5b.

It’s time to do an assessment of the organization to see who values, validates, and ignites your brilliance. If it’s too short of a list, you may need to determine your exit strategy. That could mean looking for another job or starting a side hustle that could turn into a full-time gig. It could mean working to start your own business or pulling the trigger on the book you’ve been wanting to write. I sense that there are some of you ready to take the leap but unsure if it’s the perfect time. There will never be a perfect time to become the person you might have been. Plan your exit strategy carefully, and take a smart risk.
