Light Your Fire

‘Failure is not final; failure is only feedback and feedback is the breakfast of o brilliant one.’

Here are your three learning bursts for the week...

As an entrepreneur, you don’t have a whole company to keep pushing you along when you’re getting tired or other coworkers to turn to when you need help or have a question. Luckily, we live in a time that makes it easy to access other people’s knowledge and insights.

Keep yourself fueled with stories and advice from other entrepreneurs. Check out the podcast Entrepreneur on Fire. I’ve linked to my episode here, and you should download several others to listen to on your run, in the car, or while you’re cooking dinner.

Everyone needs to pick up a copy of Thomas Friedman’s book, Thank You for Being Late: An Optimist’s Guide to Thriving in the Age of Accelerations. He provides a snapshot into the future, and I highly recommend it.

You can watch Thomas talk to Google about it here:

Valentine’s Day is around the corner. Pick up your gift right away; don’t wait. Write the letter, pick up a card, surprise your baby, your boo, your spouse or significant other. Order the flowers now. If you don’t have a baby or boo, send flowers to yourself. Buy a card, put a stamp on it, and mail it to yourself. Be good to yourself.
