How to Hug People With Our Words

If you know me, you know one of my favorite things in the world is to hug people with my words. That is why I do what I do. I strive to bring more kindness to this planet.

Now, I want to ask you a question. How exactly do we hug people with our words and bring more kindness to the planet?

I recently sat down with my friend Sarah Boxx on her podcast, No Labels, No Limits, and explored this question, which has weighed on my heart for quite some time now.

So how do we do it? Let’s explore.

• What are simple things we can easily do to give to others without expecting anything in return? It’s so much fun to create a small moment of delight in someone else’s life. This simple act of kindness can transform someone’s day, week, month, or even year. And, trust me, it’ll transform your life as well.

• Have you ever wondered what you can learn by pausing and listening to those around you? Just by listening to others, the magic and brilliance you discover is incredible, especially with people who are different from you. The wisdom you will gain from this will stick with you for years.

• Did you know that self-awareness is about getting right with yourself? Having a better understanding of who you are and where you came from is where growth begins. Therapy is a great tool for growth for anyone at every age.

• This is the age of women. Brilliant women continue to shape our world for the better every single day. Women have the unique ability to bring needed energy, ensuring that everyone has a seat at the table. Such propensity shows that we are all capable of reaching our full potential.

Sarah is a brilliant interviewer, and I encourage you to tune in to the full conversation here.
